About Us
I am the coordinator for “Dance for Diabetes / Friends Helping Friends.” The dance is an event at our farm that has family fun in the afternoon and a barn dance and auction in the evening of Oct. 1st, 2011. The profits help find a cure for diabetes. We need your help to make an impact and find a cure for Diabetes.
Since inception in 2009 we were able to raise and donate over $77,300.00 to Diabetes research, and help local families with major medical needs…. All thanks to people like you! Please consider helping to make this year’s event a success! Best Regards, Sid Prom

My name is Sid Prom, the American Family Insurance Agent in Cedarburg,
WI. As a business owner that has enjoyed success in the community,
my family and I have made a commitment to giving back to others. In
2005 my agency, (Sid Prom Insurance Agency) started an annual event
in the fall of each year. The profits the first three years went
to families of Soldiers in Iraq and the American Legion Post 288.
In June of 2007 my 9 year old son Ryan, was diagnosed with
type 1 diabetes. I wanted to do my part to help raise money to find
a cure for this disease so we changed our charity function to what
it is today. Hence in 2009 the “Dance for Diabetes / Friends Helping Friends”
was born!
